This release enhances the SharePoint experience with new web parts that display relevant Seamless workspace information and offer security‑trimmed quick access to document libraries and notebooks.
It also introduces a unified member‑management experience across the admin center, the app, and the self‑service workspace request process.

What's changed?

Seamless web parts

When installed in the Microsoft 365 tenant, the SharePoint home page of Seamless workspaces now includes web parts that show workspace information and provide quick access to documents and notes.
This improves orientation and helps users reach relevant content faster.

Who is affected?

• New Seamless workspaces (from March 2026), provided the web parts are installed in the tenant

Who is not affected:

• SharePoint communication sites
• Classic SharePoint sites

Unified member management

All Microsoft 365 group‑based assets (Teams, Groups, Engage, Loop workspaces) can now be managed through a central, unified member‑management experience.
This provides a clear overview and enables quick updates — both for Microsoft 365 admins in the Seamless admin center and for users managing their assigned workspaces in the Seamless app.

Who is not affected:

• Classic SharePoint sites
• Communication sites
