Create a new team

Create a new team

Using the + Create Team button in the Teams view, you can easily create teams based on IT-approved templates. Each team is automatically configured to align with your organization's policies and procedures.

Frequent templates are:

  • Project: For managing company projects
  • Team: For ongoing team collaboration and communication.
  • Working Group: For work focused on specific topics or initiatives.
  • Department: For organizing department-specific communication, resources, and documents.

Try it!

If you're ready to use your Seamless, here are some things to help you get started.

Open Seamless App

  • Launch the Seamless App in Microsoft Teams.
  • The Teams tab will be auto-selected.

Create a new team

  • Click the '+ Create Team' button.
  • Select the organization (if not auto-selected).
  • Choose a template for your use case.
  • Enter the team name and, if required, the project code.
  • Click 'Create'.

Wait for creation

  • Wait a few seconds for the new team to appear in the list. Refresh if necessary.

Adjust team settings

  • Select your team to view details.
  • Add a deputy, automatically adding them as a member.

Explore additional features

  • Seamless provides secure collaboration tools in the team details view, including reset sharing, shared content management, renewal, and archiving.
