Non-responsive guest
The non-responsive guest policy streamlines guest management by automatically removing guests who don't respond to invitations, keeping directories clean and secure. It ensures only engaged participants have access, saving time and enhancing security.
Configure acceptance policy
Where to start?
To configure acceptance policy, navigate to Guest governance > Templates > Removal

Set status to "Pending acceptance"
Set the number of days after invitation to change a non-responsive guest’s status to “Pending acceptance.” Enter 0 to skip the status change.
Delete
Set the number of days after invitation for a non-responsive guest to be deleted. Enter 0 to prevent deletion. Ensure the deletion occurs after the status change to "Pending acceptance".
Deleted guests are permanently removed from Entra ID 30 days after deletion. They can be restored anytime from user management in Entra ID during this period.
