Invitation
The invitation policy in Seamless allows administrators to customize invitations, capture essential details, control naming formats, and direct guests to specific apps, streamlining onboarding and improving the guest experience efficiently.
Configure invitation
Where to start?
To configure guest invitation, navigate to Guest governance > Templates > Invitation

Enable personal message
Enable this option to allow users to add a personal message to the invitation email and send a copy to another recipient. The message will be included in the body of Microsoft’s default email.
Default language
Select the default language for the Microsoft invitation email. This setting will be ignored if a personal message is added.
Collected fields
Select the Entra ID user properties to collect when inviting new guests. Use the controls to add fields, arrange their order, and set each as mandatory or optional.
Display name format
Define the guest's display name format by combining collected fields with any characters. This policy checks guest accounts every 4 minutes and resets the name if it has been changed (e.g., at first login).
Redirection Url
Specify any URL to where new guests will be redirected upon accepting their invitation. Leave blank to use Microsoft’s default: https://myapplications.microsoft.com (opens in a new tab).
