Add missing owners

Seamless checks whether every workspace has as many owners as defined in the template under minimum number of owners. If owners are missing, Seamless flags the workspace with Not enough owners.

The Owner role is counted. The primary contact is a separate setting and only counts if they also have the Owner role.

Note

There is no separate status for workspaces without owners. Not enough owners covers this case.

When Seamless flags

• In operation: The Owner background job checks all workspaces regularly.
• When removing: If someone removes owners and the number falls below the minimum, the workspace is flagged as well.

Requirement

The Owner background job must be enabled under Monitoring → Jobs. Otherwise, Seamless does not check workspaces in operation.

Find affected workspaces

1. Open Groups → Manage.

2. Under Some workspaces require attention, click Not enough owners.

   Alternatively, select the Not enough owners filter under Status.

Add owners

1. Open the workspace and click Not enough owners.

   Seamless opens Members directly and shows how many owners are missing, e.g. 1 more owner is required.

2. Add people or change the role of existing members to Owner until the message disappears.
