Webhooks

Every company has its own processes. With webhooks, Seamless reports events to your systems, for example to an Azure Logic App, Power Automate or a ticketing system. There you decide what happens: create a ticket, send an email or update data in another system.

How it works

  1. You enter the address of your system in a template.
  2. When the event occurs, Seamless sends a notification to this address.
  3. Your system processes the notification and responds with 200.

If the notification does not arrive, Seamless tries again. You can see the delivery under Monitoring > Webhooks.

The notification

Seamless sends the notification as JSON with the event and the ID of the affected guest or team:

  },
  "eventType": "user.report.inactivity"
}

You can find a complete example with an Azure Logic App under Example: Inactive guest.
