Provisioning
When someone requests a new team, Seamless creates the Microsoft 365 group, the team, the SharePoint site, channels, libraries and permissions according to the template. This process is called provisioning. Depending on the template, it takes one to several minutes.
Under Monitoring > Provisioning you see all teams Seamless has created, newest first.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Mail nickname | Technical name of the group, part of the email address. It is built from the naming convention. |
| Created | When the creation was started. |
| last updated | When the process last changed. |
| Status | State of the creation, for example Completed when the team is ready. |
| Duration | How long the creation took. |
Details of a team
Click a row to open the Provisioning details. There you see when the creation was started and completed, and under Input all details the team was created with, for example:
- Display name and mail nickname
- Owners and members
- Responsible person and deputy
- Template and organisation
- Visibility and guest access
- Member permissions and settings for messages in Microsoft Teams
This lets you quickly check during a support request whether a team was requested the way it looks now.
